Follow the journey map from Koa's village to Ember Peak. Every stage you clear unlocks the next, and you can replay any of them.
Sandy beaches, a wooden pier, rafts on the sea and snapping crabs.
Boss: the Crab King.
Vine paths, treetop runs, hopping frogs and the Tiki Temple.
Boss: the Tiki Idol.
Glowing tunnels, lifts, rolling boulders and rocks to smash.
Boss: the Bat Queen.
Ash slopes, lava falls and crumbling ledges up to the Magma Throne.
Boss: the Magma Lord.
Break open the crates along the way to find them.
Flies faster, hits twice as hard and smashes boulders.
Hold JUMP while falling to glide across wide gaps.
Shrugs off one hit.
Ten seconds of invincibility: just run through your enemies.
Three hearts per life. Every 100 pearls is an extra life, and crates hide pearl bags.
Koa picks up speed, slides to a stop and skids when you turn at full speed. Hold JUMP to jump higher, and run first to jump further.
You can still jump a moment after running off a ledge, and a jump pressed just before landing still counts. Totems in every stage are checkpoints.
Left and right on one side, JUMP and THROW on the other. Hold a direction and Koa breaks into a run after a moment, or hold THROW to run. Keyboards and game controllers work too.
The game is free, has no ads, no in-app purchases and no accounts, and collects no data. It never goes online: your progress is kept on your phone.
